Who We Are

Time Bank Canada is a grassroots, nonprofit community initiative based in Vancouver, BC, launched in 2025.

We are building a simple and practical system where people exchange time and skills as a form of mutual support.

One hour of help equals one time credit.
That credit can then be used to receive help from another member.

Why This Exists

In today’s world, many people need support — yet meaningful, human help is not always readily available.

At the same time, countless skills and experiences are often underutilized.

Time Bank Canada was created to reconnect these two realities.

By creating a structured way for people to exchange time, we enable individuals to support each other in a balanced and respectful way.

• Every hour has equal worth
• Giving and receiving are equally important
• Strong communities are built through cooperation

Time Banking is not just about services — it is about connection, participation, and trust.

We are starting with a pilot phase, designed to build a strong foundation.

During this phase, we focus on:

Who Can Participate

Time Bank Canada is open to individuals living in Canada who are interested in contributing to a cooperative and supportive community.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who are willing to both offer and receive support in a respectful environment.

Saeid Nourifard
Founder
With a background in business, strategy, and community development, he focuses on designing a structured and sustainable system for time-based exchange.

Saeid Zahabioun
Co-Founder
With extensive experience in community engagement, he contributes to building strong human connections within the network.

This initiative is being developed carefully with a strong focus on reliability and long-term impact.
